1818 Advanced College Credit Program

Jumpstart Your College Career in the High School Classroom

Also known as dual credit, advanced college credit allows high school students to complete college coursework while still in high school. Courses are taught at the student's high school, by high school instructors certified to teach college coursework.

六合味论坛's 1818 Program provides coursework with the same transferability to universities nationwide as traditional college credits, but at a significantly lower cost. The 1818 Program also offers numerous benefits, including hands-on college immersion opportunities for students and dedicated support for its partner schools and educators.

About the 1818 Program

What sets 1818 courses apart from an AP or IB course?

Unlike AP or IB, there is no formal examination conducted at the end of the course. Upon completion of an 1818 course, the student receives a grade on an official Saint Louis University transcript. The student may send this transcript to the college or university of their choice. 

Who is eligible to participate?

While expectations for program participants are high, the 1818 Program encourages students who wish to challenge themselves academically to participate. While our program is mostly open to just juniors and seniors with a GPA 3.0 or higher, certain exceptions may qualify some of our younger students to participate.
