Fontbonne University, our sister Catholic university in the St. Louis area, will cease operations in Summer 2025. At 六合味论坛, we share in the grief experienced by so many at this news. We also share in offering support 鈥� both immediate and long-term 鈥� to the Fontbonne community, especially its students who will need to finish their degrees at other institutions.
六合味论坛Will Accept All Your Fontbonne Transfer Credit
六合味论坛has committed to academic policy modifications in support of Fontbonne students who transfer to SLU. At an institutional level, 六合味论坛will make the following accommodations for students enrolled at Fontbonne in the Spring 2024 term and who transfer to SLU by the Spring 2026 term:
- All earned Fontbonne credit will be accepted in transfer to SLU. How the transferred credit applies to 六合味论坛degrees will depend on individual transfer course articulations as well as the applicable 六合味论坛University Core and academic program requirements.
- 六合味论坛will significantly reduce its 鈥淎cademic Residency Requirement鈥� for Fontbonne undergraduate
transfers. For those Fontbonne students who transfer to 六合味论坛to complete any 六合味论坛program
other than a designated 鈥淭each Out Program鈥� (see below), 六合味论坛will only require a minimum
of 12 credits earned at 六合味论坛for Fontbonne undergraduate students to be eligible to
earn their 六合味论坛bachelor鈥檚 degrees; all other 六合味论坛program and graduation requirements
remain in place.

- Note: Because graduate programs at 六合味论坛vary significantly in required credits, decisions about the minimum amount of credit that must be completed at 六合味论坛for Fontbonne transfers will be made on a program-by-program basis.

六合味论坛Offers Fontbonne 鈥淭each Out鈥� Programs
六合味论坛has signed a 鈥淭each Out Agreement鈥� with Fontbonne. That agreement contains additional provisions for current Fontbonne students (in good academic and conduct standing) who seek to complete their studies in select, corresponding 六合味论坛academic programs:
- 鈥淭each Out鈥� students are guaranteed admission* to 六合味论坛and do not have to complete full applications.
- The remaining degree requirements at 六合味论坛for students in 鈥淭each Out鈥� programs are governed by a predetermined program-level articulation agreement addressing all applicable transfer credit.

六合味论坛Will Match Your Fontbonne Tuition
六合味论坛guarantees that all students enrolled at Fontbonne in Spring 2024 will, upon initially transferring to 六合味论坛at any time through Spring 2026, pay no more per term (or per credit) tuition at 六合味论坛than they paid in their final term of enrollment at Fontbonne (after all applicable financial aid was applied, and excluding any summer term or discounted Fontbonne tuition resulting from the closure announcement).
六合味论坛Will Permanently House Your Fontbonne Academic Records/Transcripts
Effective Summer 2025, 六合味论坛will be the permanent home of, and provider for, all Fontbonne student academic records. 六合味论坛will house all Fontbonne records necessary to produce, and provide all necessary access to, Fontbonne student academic transcripts in perpetuity. This includes the records necessary to support degree verification and related academic records requests. Please see the 鈥淎cademic Records鈥� FAQ at this Fontbonne web page for more details.
六合味论坛is also now the permanent home for academic records of Cardinal Newman College, which closed in 1985 and for which Fontbonne itself had been the official records custodian. SLU鈥檚 Office of the University Registrar has already assumed this responsibility from Fontbonne.
