Interprofessional Practice, Concentration

Curriculum integration of interprofessional education is part of the formation and development of health professions students at ÁùºÏζÂÛ̳.

Interprofessional learning experiences start as early as freshman year. As undergraduates, any ÁùºÏζÂÛ̳student can earn the concentration in interprofessional practice, and the following professional programs embed the concentration into their curriculum:

Curriculum Overview

A concentration in interprofessional practice is recognized with the completion of three designated IPE courses.

The IPE courses in the concentration also have the following Undergraduate University Core attributes:

  • Equity and Global Identities: Identities in Context (±õ±Ê·¡Ìý2100 Interprofessional Collaboration and Healthcare in Global Context (3 cr))
  • Equity and Global Identities: Global Interdependence (±õ±Ê·¡Ìý2100 Interprofessional Collaboration and Healthcare in Global Context (3 cr))

Continuation Standards

Students must maintain a GPA of 2.00 in interprofessional coursework.
